With the ability to support two LTE/UMTS/GSM modules or two 802.11ac WiFi bands, this industrial PoE router provides the opportunity for both redundant wireless LAN and redundant wireless WAN connections. This dual-SIM feature, combined with load balancing from the WAN Link Manager, ensures always-on connectivity using multiple network providers. WAN redundancy and throughput are enhanced with one Gigabit Ethernet port and one fiber (SPF/GBIC) port.
The PoE gateway can be used as a protocol converter by preprocessing interface data locally and forwarding it to the router’s network interfaces. Data can also be stored locally thanks to the integrated SD card reader. The router software is based on proven software components including an embedded Linux operating system. The software comes with wide range of routing protocols including MobileIP, OSPF, BGP and RSTP., BGP and RSTP.
